Funeral Fornication - Oathbound

Ravages of ages
Erosion of old
On purest earthly stone
In my forest cold
History speaks the tales of tyrants
Once upon these ancient shores
Every one, an Ozymandias
Long buried by time and tide

Winds from the iron mountain
Sweep the tides away
Oceans rise and visit distant shores
Yet the current may return someday

My truth is a temple
Of pagan souls
And on towering spires
I proclaim the oath

I swear to the proud skies
And misty lakes
To forever hold true
And live for the oath
The gods are in and all about me
To them I pledge my sword
Till the long away day
We see the return of pleasant shores

Winds from the iron mountain
Sweep the tides away
Oceans rise and visit distant shores
Yet the current may return someday

My truth is a temple
Of pagan souls
And on towering spires
I proclaim the oath
